United Way of North Central Oklahoma will begin accepting Letters of Intent for their 2019 funding cycle. Non-profit agencies which provide programs and services meeting the health and human service needs of Ponca City are encouraged to submit a Letter of Intent to apply for funding.
Applications will be available May 1st online at www.unitedwayponcacity.org under “IMPACT” or can be picked up at the United Way of North Central Oklahoma office located at 205 N 2nd St, Ponca City. Applications are due May 15, 2018 by noon and will be notified by May 25 if eligible. Agencies that meet United Way’s funding criteria and priorities will be invited to submit a complete RFP application.
United Way of Ponca City’s 2018 funding priorities focus on meeting the community’s needs for Education, Financial Stability, and Health/Safety. These priorities will ensure that, with the increased need in our community for health and human services and with limited dollars available, our Community Investment Allocations are being made as wisely as possible. Our investors (donors) want to know that we are making the greatest possible impact in the areas of need. Therefore, United Way of Ponca City is focusing on measuring results in programs and sharing our priorities with the community more effectively.
Agencies invited to submit a full application will be scheduled to make a presentation to United Way of Ponca City’s Allocation Committee. The committee reviews the requests for funding, hears presentations, seeks additional information, and makes recommendations to the United Way Board of Directors. The Board of Directors will review the recommendations of the committee and announce the grants in November.
