United Way Youth Volunteer Scholarship

United Way of North Central Oklahoma is proud to support our community's students with four $500 scholarships: You’re never too young to make a difference. United Way’s Youth Volunteer Scholarship recognizes teens in Kay County who are active volunteers, giving back to their community through their time and talents.

A $500 scholarship awarded to a local high school senior dedicated to bettering the community through volunteerism.
Application Materials:
- Cover Sheet
- Resume
- Current Transcript with ACT Score
- Community Service Form
- Letter of Reference from the organization through which the student served
- Essay Portion:
  - Topic: The Importance of Community Service for Teens
  - Approximately 200 words; typed; double spaced

Applications are due no later than 2PM on March 14, 2025. Entries must be mailed, dropped off or emailed to:

SOROPTOMIST INTERNATIONAL of Ponca City Scholarship

Senior Girl Education Scholarship

The Soroptimist Club of Ponca City is offering two $500.00 Senior Girl Scholarships to girls graduating in the spring of 2025. Applicants must submit a complete application, and the responses will be scored by 3 non-Soroptimist independent judges. The scoring sheet is attached so applicants can preview what goes into the scoring process.

Important details:

Deadline for application is March 14, 2025.
Application must be typed using 12-point font and an essay up to 750 words.
Make a copy of your application.
Application can be mailed or dropped off to: RSVP, 445 Fairview Ave. Suite 101, Ponca City, OK 74601. OR arrangements can be made to give your application to your school counselor, and we can pick it up.
